Vocabulary

enormous- If something is enormous, it's extremely large.  I thought bears were big, but the dinosaur at the museum was enormous!

pastry- A sweet baked good made from dough is called a pastry.  The bakery smelled delicious early in the morning after the pasteries were baked.

recite- If you recite something, you say it aloud from memory.  Our class learned a poem by heart to recite at the school assembly.

shriek- When you shriek, you let out a loud, high-pitched scream.  When my mom saw that mouse, she let out a shriek that scared even me!

"I hear, and I forget. I see, and I remember. I do, and I understand."

Have a great day!
